Epstein acquired a more modest island - the Little St James - originally in the late 1990s, but acquired the bigger adjacent island in the year 2016 for around $22.5 million.
The released images suggest he had created plans to transform the sprawling island by erecting living quarters, an amphitheatre, an underwater office and a reservoir.
You can see the drawing is a local waterway, a waterway in the US Virgin Islands, indicated on the lower right-hand corner.
This development map is covered in handwritten red notes and features a legend labelling various parts of the property.
Accompanying this are what seem to be an additional nine site drawings and construction drawings, such as plans for marina coverings.
