In a unexpected partnership that breaks usual predictions, the game developer has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "A strange encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of forbidden rituals and terrifying changes resonate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret cult.

The adventure centers on "bizarre trials and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an unique katana in addition to multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
